An “Imp”lausible story.
The best part of making bad puns during the game is when someone else at the table really hates them.
The DM, someone who loves puns so much, we have a pun scoreboard. Make him laugh, get a point. The winner is also the loser.
During the game, some imps surprised us. Someone said, that was “imp”possible. Yeah, it was bad.
But it got worse.
Next someone says, “Doesn't matter, I am “imp”ervious to their attacks.
And on and on it went.
For the next 15 mins, we heard nothing but,
“Imp”licate,
“Imp”air
“Imp”art
“Imp”ass."(heh)
“Imp”ell ...
It was horrible. We counted about 40 imp words, and used them all. The guy who hates puns swore he will never use imps when he Dms.
And, it was over, until next week when we saw nagas.
We'll never see another naga again either.
